Downton Abbey Films
In 2019, fans were thrilled to return to the beloved estate in the first Downton Abbey film. Set in 1927, it followed a royal visit by King George V and Queen Mary. Written by Julian Fellowes and directed by Michael Engler, the movie captured all the elegance and drama we love.
Now, excitement builds again as we prepare for the third and final Downton Abbey movie, set to release in September 2025. One last visit. One more glimpse into the lives of the Crawleys and their devoted staff.

Downton Abbey first aired on PBS Masterpiece in 2010, capturing hearts with its stunning setting, rich characters, and layered storytelling.
The series ran for six seasons, spanning the years 1912 to 1926.
A quick look back:
Season 1 begins with the sinking of the Titanic and the shock it brings to Downton’s inheritance.
Season 2 covers the impact of World War I, with the estate turned into a convalescent home.
Season 3 brings love, loss, and the tragic death of beloved characters.
Season 4 shows Mary learning to lead, and Anna facing heartbreaking trials.
